Transfer of multiple files/folders

The following options in Tools menu is available for transfering files and folders:

Copy To.../Move To...: allows the transfer of many files or folders to another folder.

MP3 Copy To.../MP3 Move To...: allows the transfer of many MP3 files to another folder. It will not transfer selected folders, nor will it work if MP3 files are not selected.

MP3 Folder Transfer Options

This is a special transfer mode for MP3, that makes it easy to get a complete folder structure on a simple step. Just set "MP3 Parameters added to Folder:" (or use the default), and the MP3 files will be moved to the folder according to the information you use. The MP3 parameter list is on MP3 Filename Configuration.

For example, if you used the parameters "%ARTIST%\%ALBUM%" and folder "c:\music", for the following files:

music1.mp3, with ID3 tag containing Album: Album1 and Artist: Artist1

music2.mp3, with ID3 tag containing Album: Album2 and Artist: Artist2

music3.mp3, with ID3 tag containing Album: Album2 and Artist: Artist2

music4.mp3, with an empty ID3 tag

  The files would go to:

c:\music\Artist1\Album1\music1.mp3

c:\music\Artist2\Album2\music2.mp3

c:\music\Artist2\Album2\music3.mp3

c:\music\music4.mp3 (only if Copy/Move to normal Destination Folder if parameter not found in MP3 file is off)

All non-existing folders will be created automatically.

For the files without ID3 tags, you can turn Copy/Move to normal Destination Folder if parameter not found in MP3 file off if you'd like to handle these files manually. In that case, if any of the parameters are not found, the file will not be transfered.
