Column Types

 

 STG FolderPrint Plus use several columns to display information about your files and folders.

You can choose which you want displayed by choosing Customize Columns.

 

  The following columns are available:

 

Name: name of the file or folder.

 

 You can choose to display the full name of the folder by using Options->Show Relative Folders.

 

  You can also edit the name for printing by right-clicking and choosing edit, or use Remove From List in the same way.

 

  If you choose MP3 Info extra information will be added in this column for MP3s.

 

  Extra information can also be added by choosing Options-> Add URL to Favorites. In this case, the filename will be followed by the URL.

 

Size: size of the file or size of the folder, including sub-folders. Size display can be changed by choose Options->Size and the size you prefer (Bytes, Kilobytes or Megabytes).

 

Dir Size: size of the folder, not including sub-folders. Size display can be changed by choose Options->Size and the size you prefer (Bytes, Kilobytes or Megabytes).

 

Percent: color bar that shows the size of the current item compared to the total size of the scanned folder.

 

Date: last modified date of the current item. See also Date Format.

 

Date Created: date in which the current item was created. See also Date Format.

 

Date Acessed: date in which the current item was last viewed. Please note that the data may only be correct in NTFS partitions, not FAT32.

Also, viewing certain file types in Windows Explorer or scanning them in STG Folderprint Plus with the options on (for example, version info or MP3 information) counts as Last Acess. See also Date Format.

 

Files: number of files contained in the current folder and its sub-folders. Also shown for ZIP file if Open Compressed Files is on.

 

Folder: full name of the folder where the item is located.

 

Attrib: attributes of the item. May be none or one or more of Archive, Hidden, System, Read-Only, Compressed or Encrypted.

 

Type: File Type description.

 

Owner: owner of item.

 

Version Info: file description, internal name, product name or file name (the first available is used), plus file version for executable (.EXE,.DLL,.CPL) files.

 

Description:  description typed by the user previously and found on a descript.ion file (needs Use Descript.ion on, in that case)

 

Title,Artist,Album,Year,Genre,Comment,Track,Duration,Bitrate,Frequency: Special MP3 information, if found on the ID3 tag. Only available when MP3 Info is on.

 

Title,Subject,Author, Page Count and Keywords: Available when PDF info is on and the information is on the specific PDF file.

 

Title, Subject, Author, Page Count, Word Count. Comments and Company: available on Compound Files such as Word DOC files and Excels XLS files, when Compound File Info is on and the information is on the specific file.
